We are delighted to announce that BVB and Dumbarton legend Murdo MacLeod has joined Dumbarton Borussen as an honorary member.
Murdo made his name with Dumbarton in the mid 70s before moving to Celtic. A move to Borussia Dortmund followed in 1987 and Murdo went on to play 103 Bundesliga games for Die Schwarzgelben, winning the German Cup and Super Cup in 1989.
Murdo returned to Dumbarton as player-coach and guided the club to promotion from the Second Division with a last day win over Stirling Albion in 1995.
As a true legend for both Dumbarton and Dortmund we are very proud to have Murdo as an ambassador for Dumbarton Borussen.
